L'home llop alfa és el primer home llop i progenitor de tots els altres d'aquesta espècie. L'home llop alfa no s'esmenta com un dels Alfas capturats i venuts a Crowley, de manera que encara pot estar viu i en la clandestinitat, però Crowley més tard revela que creu que només hi ha un Alfa esquerre, el que suggereix que l'Alfa home llop està realment mort.

The Alpha Werewolf is the very first werewolf and progenitor of all other of this species. The Alpha Werewolf is not mentioned as being one of the Alphas captured and sold to Crowley, so he may still be alive and in hiding, however Crowley later reveals he believes there is only one Alpha left, suggesting the Alpha Werewolf is actually dead.
Being close to the alpha, has an affect on werewolves as up to the fourth generation, it causes them to be purebloods.
