Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse / Els quatre Genets de l'Apocalipsi

HISTÒRIA
Els genets són poderosos, éssers immortals que actuen com a instruments de caos i destrucció durant la gran tribulació, que és provocada per l'alliberament de Lucifer. La Guerra, fam i pesta són lleials als plans de Lucifer, mentre que la mort serveix l'agenda de Lucifer només mentre està unida a ell per un encanteri. Cada genet sembla humà, i condueix un acte que reflecteix el color del seu cavall com es descriu en lore. Cadascun posseeix un timbre diferent que és d'alguna manera vinculada a les seves competències, i els seus anells de prova integral per posar fi a l'Apocalipsi.


L'origen de genets que no queda clar i encara no s'ha presentat. Les seves edats reals es 
desconeixen, però la mort és el genet més antic ja que existia en l'origen del temps. Guerra es refereix als altres genets com els seus germans, però, la seva relació amb els altres és una mica confusa. La pesta professa lleialtat a la guerra i la fam, i es fa pena que tots dos van caure en un estat de deteriorament a causa de les accions de Sam i Dean, tant és així que va desobeir les ordres de Lucifer i va estar turmentat. 

En Sobrenatural, La Guerra és el primer genet a aparèixer, fam va ser el segon, la Pesta va ser la tercera, i la mort era el Genet final a aparèixer. Les seves habilitats varien, però tots semblen capaços de causar una destrucció generalitzada d'una manera o altra. Ells llegeixen els pensaments i emocions humanes. Els genets poden teletransportar a si mateixos, es mouen objectes telequinéticamente, i ser invisible per als éssers humans quan es tria ser. Els Poders de Sam no treballar en els Cavallers, tot i que poden tenir un impacte indirecte.  

A més d'aquests poders, cadascun d'ells posseeixen habilitats úniques que coincideixen amb els seus papers apocalíptics. La guerra pot alterar la percepció humana, de manera que la gent veu enemics on no n'hi ha. La fam pot afectar impulsos i addiccions de les persones. La Pesta pot crear i manipular malalties mortals en els éssers humans. La mort té un control total sobre la vida i la mort, i és capaç de matar amb un toc o un esdeveniment dramàtic. Guerra, la fam i la pesta no poden gestionar per complet i mantenir els seus poders o el seu paper en l'Apocalipsi sense els seus anells. Ganivet de Ruby pot danyar guerra, fam i pesta suficientment  per eliminar els seus anells, encara que com encara no s'ha demostrat res per acabar amb ells.



HISTORY
The Horsemen are powerful, immortal beings that act as instruments of chaos and destruction during the Apocalypse, which is triggered by Lucifer's release. War, Famine, and Pestilence are loyal to Lucifer's plans, whereas Death serves Lucifer's agenda only while he is bound to him by a spell.Each Horseman appears human, and drives a car that reflects the color of his horse as described in lore. Each possesses a different ring that is somehow tied to their powers, and their rings prove integral in ending the Apocalypse.

The Horsemen's origin remains unclear. Their actual ages remain unknown, however Death is the oldest Horseman as he existed during the origin of time. War refers to the other Horsemen as his siblings, yet their relationship to each other is somewhat unclear. Pestilence professes allegiance to War and Famine, and is distressed that both fell into an impaired state due to the actions of Sam and Dean, so much so that he disobeyed Lucifer's commands and tormented them.

In Supernatural, War is the first Horseman to appear, Famine was the second, Pestilence was the third, and Death was the final Horseman to appear. Their abilities vary, but all appear capable of causing widespread destruction in one form or another. They read human thoughts and emotions.The Horsemen can teleport themselves, move objects telekinetically, and be invisible to humans when they choose to be. Sam's powers do not work on the Horsemen, though they can have an indirect impact.

In addition to these powers, they each possess unique abilities that coincide with their apocalyptic roles. War can alter human perception, making people see enemies where there are none. Famine can affect people's urges and addictions. Pestilence can create and manipulate deadly diseases in humans. Death has full control over life and death itself, and is able to kill with a touch or dramatic event. War, Famine and Pestilence cannot fully manage and maintain their powers or their roles in the Apocalypse without their rings. Ruby's Knife can damage War, Famine and Pestilence enough to remove their rings, though as yet nothing has been shown to kill them. 

HORSEMEN

War/Guerra

Guerra, també conegut com el Cavaller Vermell, porta un anell d'or pur, que li permet canalitzar la seva capacitat de crear conflictes on no existia prèviament, la qual és la seva contribució a la gran tribulació. Guerra viatja en un Mustang vermell que representa el seu corcel vermell.

War, also known as the Red Horseman, wears a pure gold ring that enables him to channel his ability to create conflict where none existed previously, which is his contribution to the Apocalypse. War travels in a red Mustang which represents his red steed.For more information click on the picture.

Famine/Fam

Fam, també conegut com el Cavaller Negre, porta un anell de plata que li permet centrar la seva habilitat principal, que està afectant als impulsos interiors de la seva víctima, desitjos i necessitats, el que fa que es tornin bojos pel que els sembla, per promoure l'Apocalipsi . Fam viatja en un Cadillac Escalade negre.

Famine, also known as the Black Horseman, wears a sliver ring that enables him to focus his core ability, which is affecting his victim’s inner urges, desires, and needs, which causes them to go insane for what they crave, to further the Apocalypse. Famine travels in a black Cadillac Escalade.

Pestilence/Pesta

Pestilence, el tercer genet a aparèixer, porta un anell amb una maragda verda que l'ajuda a manipular les infeccions, plagues, malalties i altres malalties mortals, la qual cosa és essencial en l'avanç de la gran tribulació. Pestilence viatja en un cotxe verd "Hornet Wagon". Ell és de vegades acompanyat per un eixam de mosques.

Pestilence, the third Horseman to appear, wears a ring with a green emerald that helps him to manipulate infections, infestations, sickness and other deadly diseases, all of which is essential in advancing the Apocalypse. Pestilence travels in a green "Hornet Wagon". He is occasionally accompanied by a swarm of flies. For more information click on the picture.

Death/Mort

Mort, també conegut com el Cavaller pàl·lid, està afiliada a la fam, la guerra i la pesta, tot i que és molt més poderós que ells. La mort porta un anell amb una pedra blanca, a diferència dels seus germans, els poders de la mort no provenen del seu anell. La mort pot matar en crear enormes tempestes, tsunamis i huracans, o mitjançant l'ús d'un simple gest. La mort també pot ressuscitar als morts. Segons Bobby, Mort s'ha mantingut sobri abans de la gran tribulació, i l'última vegada que la mort era lliure, "Noè estava construint un vaixell". La mort actua sota la direcció de Lucifer a la majoria de la 5a temporada, però es ressent del control de l'arcàngel sobre ell. De bona gana li dóna el seu anell a Dean per aturar l'Apocalipsi. Després de la derrota de Lucifer, la mort segueix sent lliure, possiblement, a la direcció de les parques. És ell que amb el temps torna l'ànima de Sam. Per més informació clicau a la foto.

Death, also known as the Pale Horseman, is affiliated with Famine, War and Pestilence, although he is far more powerful than them. Death wears a ring with a white stone; unlike his brothers, Death's powers do not come from his ring. Death can kill by creating massive storms, tsunamis and hurricanes, or by using a simple gesture. Death can also resurrect dead people. According to Bobby, Death has been kept restrained prior to the Apocalypse, and the last time Death was free, "Noah was building a boat". Death acts under Lucifer's direction for most of Season 5, but resents the archangel's control over him. He willingly gives his ring to Dean to stop the Apocalypse. After Lucifer's defeat, Death remains free, possibly directing the reapers. It is he that eventually returns Sam's soul.
