Els monstres és el nom col · lectiu donat als fills i descendents d'Eva. Encara referint-se a moltes espècies diferents, tots comparteixen un punt d'origen, i molts comparteixen trets. Són criatures sobrenaturals amb força i poder extraordinaris, i en general s'aprofiten dels éssers humans. Quan moren, les seves ànimes no s'envien ni al cel ni l'infern, sino al Purgatori.

Monster is the collective name given to the children and descendants of Eve. Although refering to many different species, they all share a point of origin, and many share traits. They are supernatural creatures with extraordinary strength and powers, and commonly prey upon Humans. When they die, their souls are sent neither to Heaven nor Hell,but to Purgatory.

Convertir-se en un monstre / Becoming a monster

Els monstres es poden crear de diverses maneres. Si bé això no és una llista completa, que mostra alguns dels mètodes més comuns de la reproducció del monstre.

El mètode original i més efectiu és mitjançant el contacte tàctil amb Eva, la mare de tots. Ella tenia la capacitat de convertir els humans en monstres o híbrids amb un simple toc. Aquest és probablement la forma en la que els Alfas varen ser creats.

El mètode més comú, és però simplement la reproducció sexual entre els monstres, que els changelings, de Djinn, Kitsune, Ghouls, vetala i presumiblement tots els altres monstres, el mètode no ha estat declarats.

Per Mossegar - llop, Skinwalkers i Jefferson Starships poden transmetre la seva maledicció al picar a un ésser humà.

Per Genètica - Alguns monstres es reprodueixen genèticament sense haver de girar o infectar els humans. Això no és la mateixa que la reproducció sexual entre monstres, com en aquests casos la seva naturalesa monstruosa roman en estat latent durant anys, fent que apareguin completament humà abans que emergeixi. Rugarus, i metamòrfics es reprodueixen d'aquesta manera.

Per Transfusió - Introducció i barreja de sang del vampir amb la sang d'un ésser humà converteix els humans en vampirs.

Per ingestió - Una quantitat significativa de sang de vampir per via oral per un ésser humà fa que ell o ella es converteixi en un vampir.

Per Verí - El Verí d'Aracne pot convertir la seva víctima en un Aracne.

Per menjar carn humana - Cedint al canibalisme durant el temps suficient al seu torn a un home en un Wendigo.

Monsters are made in a great variety of ways. While this is not a complete list, it shows some of the more common methods of monster reproduction.

The original and most effective method is by tactile contact with Eve, the mother of all. She had the ability to turn humans into monsters or hybrids with a mere touch. This is presumably how most Alpha's were created.

The most common method, is however simply be sexual reproduction between monsters, which Changelings, Djinn's, Kitsune, Ghouls, Vetala and presumably all other monsters, whose method hasn't been stated do.

By Biting - Werewolves, Skinwalkers and Jefferson Starships can pass on their curse by biting a human.

By Genetics - Some monsters reproduce genetically without having to turn or infect humans. This is not the same as sexual reproduction between monsters, as In these cases their monstrous nature remains dormant for years, making them appear completely human before it emerges. Rugarus, and Shapeshifters reproduce in this way.

By Transfusion - Introduction and admixture of Vampire blood with a human's blood turns humans into vampires.

By Ingestion - A significant amount of vampire blood taken orally by a human causes him or her to turn into a vampire

By Venom - The Venom of an Arachne can turn its victim into an Arachne.

By Eating Human Flesh - Succumbing to cannibalism for long enough will turn a man into a Wendigo.

Característiques en comuns entre ells / Characteristics in common between them

L'alimentació en éssers humans - La majoria, no tots, els monstres s'alimenten amb éssers humans - ja sigui carn humana, sang, certs òrgans, ànimes o els quatre. Només els shojos, Sirenes, i Fènixs no semblen menjar éssers humans, només maten directament. Els metamòrfics mai s'han vist menjar-se la gent, o tenir cap intenció, però, estava implícit en el Leviatan Edgar que almenys alguns d'ells. Força sobrehumana - Tots els monstres solen posseir cert grau de força sobrehumana, que van des de més fort que els éssers humans, en ser capaç d'aixecar a un home amb una mà o cadenes d'acer a pressió, amb la possible excepció de les Sirenes. Dracs, homes llop, "shojos", "Rugarus", vampirs, "Jefferson Starships" i "Wendigos" es troben entre els més forts de tots els monstres.

Velocitat sobrehumana - Molts monstres són molt més ràpids que els éssers humans perquè puguin sorprendre als éssers humans inadvertits o fugir d'ells en una persecució. Trotapells, "Rugarus", homes llop, vampirs, "kitsunes", "Jefferson Starships", "Djinn", Carronyaire, Dracs (durant el vol), i "Wendigos" posseeixen aquests poders, però els "Wendigos" són els més ràpids de tots els monstres.

En canviar de forma - Una font comuna de molts monstres és la capacitat de canviar la seva forma. Alguns, com Metamòrfics, Sirenes, "Rakshasa", i "Jefferson Starships", pot esdevenir el que vulguin, mentre que altres són més limitades. Feeding on Humans - Most, if not all, monsters feed on humans - either human flesh, blood, certain organs, souls or all four. Only Shojos, Sirens, and Phoenixes don't seem to eat humans, they just kill them outright. Shapeshifters have never been seen eating people, or having any intent to, however it was implied by the Leviathan Edgar that at least some of them did. Some Monsters also have certain preferences in types of humans, Dragons eat Virgins, Rawhead's eat children, Okami each eat a certain type of human, down to preference, young Changeling feed on mothers, while older ones eat children, Shtriga normally feed on children as well.
Non-human Eyes - Shapeshifters, Jefferson Starships, Werewolves, Kitsunes, Skinwalkers, Wendigos, Vetalas, Dragons, Rugarus, Djinns, and Rakshasa can all be identified by their strange or unusual eyes, though some require certain conditions to be noticed (such as a Shapeshifter's eyes flashing yellow when seen through a camera).
Claws - Werewolves, Shojos, Kitsune, Skinwalkers (in dog form), Wendigos, Dragons, Rawheads and Lamia, all have razor sharp claws.
Fangs - Vampires, Werewolves, Okami, Jefferson Starships, Wendigos, Skinwalkers, Crocottas, and Vetala possess monstrous fangs. Vampires and Vetala use them to suck the blood of their victims, for others they are used to tear and devour flesh.
Superhuman Strength - All monsters typically possess some degree of superhuman strength, ranging from just stronger than humans, to being able to lift a man with one hand or snap steel chains, with the possible exception of Sirens. Dragons, Werewolves, Shojos, Rugarus, Vampires, Jefferson Starships and Wendigos are among the strongest of all monsters.
Superhuman Speed - Many monsters are much faster than humans so they can sneak up on humans unnoticed or outrun them in a chase. Skinwalkers, Rugarus, Werewolves, Vampires, Kitsunes, Jefferson Starships, Djinn, Crocotta, Dragons (while flying), and Wendigos possess these powers but Wendigos are the fastest of all monsters.
Shapeshifting - A common power of many monsters is the ability to change their form. Some, such as Shapeshifters, Sirens, Rakshasa, and Jefferson Starships, can change into whatever they want, while others are more limited. Dragons, Crocotta, Changelings, Shtriga, Phoenixes, Kitsune, Skinwalkers and Djinns can only change between their true form and a human disguise. Some monsters have certain requirements or limitations to their transformations, such as Werewolves, the only monsters that can't control their ability to transform (however, pure blood werewolves can shape shift at will,) or Ghouls, which are able to change into anyone, but only if they eat the person's flesh.

Debilitats / Weaknesess

Decapitació - Vampirs, Ghouls i Arachne es poden matar per tenir el cap eliminats (com pot Shapeshifters). Així és també com es maten Starships Jefferson. Això podria funcionar en la majoria, si no tots, els monstres.

Això és per acabar amb els monstres, de manera que els leviatans no han de competir pels recursos alimentaris.

Beheading - Vampires, Ghouls and Arachne can be killed by having their heads removed (as can Shapeshifters). This is also how Jefferson Starships are killed. This might work on most, if not all, monsters.

The Colt - The Colt can kill almost anything in existence.

Fire - Many monsters on supernatural have shown that they are vulnerable to and can be killed by fire. These monster are Wendigos, Lamias (with certain herbs), Changelings, and Rugarus.

Mirrors - Changelings, Sirens and Wraiths all have their true forms revealed by mirrors.

Silver - Several monsters are vulnerable to silver, the most well known are: Werewolves, Skinwalkers, Vetala's and Shapeshifters. Silver is also part of the thing needed to kill both Djinns and Lamias. Wraiths are vulnerable to silver, to touch it will burn their skin.

Vamp-Tonite - As well as dumbing down humans, a side effect of the Leviathan Corn Syrup additive, is it makes the blood toxic to any non-Leviathan monster (Vampires, Werewolves, Ghouls, Shapeshifters etc) who drink it. This is to wipe out the monsters, so that the Leviathans don't have to compete for food resources.

Els Alfas que podeu trobar destaquen com els pares de les seves espècies assignades.
Alphas stand as the fathers of their allotted species.

Poders i Habilitats / Powers and Abilities
Com els creadors de les seves espècies específiques, cadascun d'ells són astronòmicament més potent a causa de ser el primer del seu tipus.
A més d'això, també posseeixen diversos poders únics:

Telepatia - que posseeixen un vincle telepàtic als seus fills, el que els permet fer un seguiment o comunicar-s'hi durant gran distància, també poden aprendre els coneixements que els seus fills posseeixen.

Immunitat millorada - Els Alfas són més resistents a certes armes que danyen als membres inferiors de les seves races.

Enllaç a Eva - Malgrat tots els monstres tenen un vincle a Eva, els Alfas posseeixen un vincle més fort.

As the creators of their specific species, each of them are astronomically more powerful because of literally being the first of their kind.
As well as this, they also possess several unique powers:

Telepathic Link - they possess a telepathic link to their children, allowing them to track or communicate with them over great distance, they can also learn knowledge their children possesses.

Enhanced Immunity - Alphas are more resistant to certain weapons that harm lesser members of their races.

Link to Eve - Although all monsters possess a link to Eve, the Alphas possess a stronger link.
