Lucifer

Lucifer és un dels personatges que apareix a la temporada 4 i 5 de la sèrie Supernatural ( "Sobrenatural", en Espanya) per l'actor Mark Pellegrino.

 

Déu va crear als Arcàngels: Miquel, Lucifer, Rafael, Gabriel i Metatrón. Lucifer va formar un vincle especialment fort amb el seu germà Michael. Després de la creació de la humanitat, Lucifer va començar a discutir amb els seus germans i amb Déu a través d'aquests nous éssers imperfectes. Els arguments van ser tan calent i amarg que Gabriel va decidir deixar el cel en lloc de veure continuar la lluita. D'acord amb Lucifer, Déu va ordenar als seus àngels per venerar Man, però Lucifer es va negar, i va ser tret del Cel. Com un acte de desafiament, Lucifer va retorçar l'ànima d'un ésser humà per crear el primer dimoni Lilith. Posteriorment, va ser confinat en contra de la seva voluntat en una gàbia per Déu. La gàbia només es podia obrir-se si seixanta-sis dels sis-cents segells de la gàbia es trenquen. Durant el seu encarçalament, els dimonis es van multiplicar, i alguns el van adorar com el seu creador.
El 1972, Azazel posseeix un sacerdot en el Convent de Santa Maria, i va matar vuit monges amb el capella. Aquest sacrifici li permet parlar amb el Lucifer empresonat, la gàbia s'obre sota del convent. Lucifer li diu a Azazel que Lilith es qui necessita per trencar els segells que  el mantenen captiu a la gàbia, i que Azazel ha de trobar a un nen molt especial.
Lucifer s'allibera quan l'últim segell està trencat accidentalment per Sam quan mata a Lilith. Mentre que a la Terra, Lucifer, amb l'ajuda dels quatre genets de l'Apocalipsi, provoca el caos i els desastres naturals. Té la intenció de destruir la humanitat i per matar Miquel. Essencial per al pla de Llucifer és la possessió del seu vaixell destinat a en Sam Winchester.
Sam i Dean tracten de trobar una manera de derrotar Lucifer sense cedir als plans del Cel. Intenten matar Lucifer amb la Colt, però fallen. Finalment Sam se li ocorre un pla en què es permetrà a Llucifer de posseir, i després obligar-lo a entrar a la gàbia. L'intent inicial falla, però quan Lucifer s'enfronta a Miquel a Stull Cemetery, Sam se les arregla per obtenir el control suficient per obligar-se i Lucifer a la gàbia, tirant de Miquel endins també.
Després de la derrota de Lucifer, un grup d'àngels tradicionalistes, liderats per Raphael, l'esperança d'alliberar tant Lucifer i Miquel per completar l'Apocalipsi. Cuan Sam és alliberat de la gàbia, la seva ànima es queda enrere, potser sent abusat per Lucifer i Miquel.

Poders i habilitats 

• Teletransportar a si mateix i als altres.
• Domini dels éssers primordials com déus, pagans i tots els àngels de menor rang.
• Ell tenia el poder de fer esclatar Castiel amb un espetec dels dits.
• Manipular el clima. La seva presència a la terra és assenyalada per tsunamis massius i tornados.
• Percebre les veritables formes dels quatre genets de l'Apocalipsi, com va demostrar en veure la veritable forma de la mort.
• Congelar objectes. 
• No es veuran afectats pel temps.
• Enllaçar les entitats a les seves ordres mitjançant la realització d'un ritual, com ho va demostrar amb la mort.
• Les afirmacions que ell seria capaç de portar a Sam de tornada a la vida si Sam es va treure la vida per aturar-se a si mateix convertir-se en vaixell de Llucifer.

Debilitats

• El Colt pot danyar, però no matar, ell.
• Un arcàngel pot matar Arcàngel Llucifer.
• Miquel pot matar a Llucifer.
• Si no té les debilitats d'altres àngels, que també pot ser tancat per un cercle de sants olis, i es manté per sigils Enoc.

 

 HISTORY

God created the Archangels; Michael, Lucifer, Raphael, Gabriel, and Metatron. Lucifer formed an especially strong bond with his brother Michael. After the creation of mankind, Lucifer began to argue with his brothers and with God over these new, imperfect beings. The arguments became so heated and bitter that Gabriel chose to leave Heaven rather than watch the fighting continue. According to Lucifer, God commanded his Angels to venerate Man, but Lucifer refused, and was cast out of Heaven. As an act of defiance, Lucifer twisted a human being's soul to create the first demon, Lilith. He was then confined against his will in a Cage by God. The Cage could only open if sixty-six of the six hundred seals on the Cage broke. During his confinement, demons multiplied, and some worshiped him as their creator.
In 1972, Azazel possesses a priest at St. Mary's Convent, and killed eight nuns in the chapel. This sacrifice enables him to speak to the imprisoned Lucifer, whose cage opens beneath the convent. Lucifer tells Azazel that Lilith is needed to break seals that hold him captive in the Cage, and that Azazel needs to find a very special child.
Lucifer is freed when the last seal is broken inadvertently by Sam when he kills Lilith. While on Earth, Lucifer, with the help of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, causes chaos and natural disasters. He intends to destroy humanity and to kill Michael. Essential to Lucifer's plan is the possession of his destined vessel - Sam Winchester.
Sam and Dean try to find a way of defeating Lucifer without giving in to the plans of Heaven. They attempt to kill Lucifer with the Colt, but fail. Eventually Sam comes up with a plan in which he will allow Lucifer to possess him, and then force him into the Cage. The initial attempt fails, but when Lucifer confronts Michael at Stull Cemetery, Sam manages to gain enough control to force himself and Lucifer into the Cage, pulling Michael in as well.
After Lucifer's defeat, a group of traditionalist angels, led by Raphael, hope to release both Lucifer and Michael to complete the Apocalypse as prophesied.When Sam is released from the Cage, his soul remains behind, perhaps being abused by Lucifer and Michael.
Before Lucifer's imprisonment in the Cage, he had in possession the angel tablet and placed it in one of his crypts that he created to store his prized artifacts. 

Powers and Abilities

• Teleport himself and others.
• Overpower primordial beings like pagan gods and all lower-classed angels.
• He had the power to make Castiel explode with a snap of his fingers.
• Manipulate weather. His presence on earth is signaled by massive tsunamis and tornadoes.
• Perceive the true forms of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, as he demonstrated when he saw Death's true form.
• Freeze objects. He freezes a window by breathing on it.
• Remain unaffected by time.
• Bind entities to his command by conducting a ritual, as he demonstrated with Death.
• Claims that he would be able to bring Sam back to life if Sam killed himself to stop himself becoming Lucifer's Vessel.

Weaknesses

• The Colt can damage, but not kill, him.
• An Archangel Blade can kill Lucifer.
• Michael can kill Lucifer.
• If he has the weaknesses of other angels, he can also be confined by a circle of holy oil, and kept out by Enochian sigils.
