Archangel Raphael

Rafael és un personatge de la sèrie de televisió "Supernatural"(Sobrenatural en Espanya) que fa la seva aparició en la quarta temporada interpretat per Demore Barnes i Lanette Ware.

Rafael és un dels cinc Arcàngels creats per Déu i el germà gran de Gabriel, però encara més jove que Miquel i Lucifer.
Raphael era el protector del Profeta Chuck Shurley. Va recolzar el pla per provocar l'Apocalipsi perquè Miquel pogués derrotar Lucifer, i va matar a Castiel quan l'àngel va tractar d'impedir la ruptura de l'últim segell.
Després de l'alliberament de Lucifer de la gàbia, Rafael va descendir a la Terra i va prendre el seu got, Donnie Finnerman, per posar fi a un conflicte entre àngels i dimonis prop d'una estació de servei a Maine. Després d'acabar amb els dimonis que va abandonar el seu buc i va ascendir de nou al Cel, deixant a Donnie en un estat catatònic proper. Castiel i Dean li atrauen la Terra i la seva nau amb un ritual Enochian i aconsegueixen atrapar en un cercle de foc sagrat. El interroguen sense èxit per obtenir informació sobre Déu i la seva ubicació, a continuació, Castiel i Dean el deixen en el cercle de flames.
Rafael va aconseguir escapar del cercle, i després de la detenció de Lucifer i Miquel a la gàbia, es va convertir en el líder d'un grup de tradicionalistes àngels intenció de reiniciar l'Apocalipsi. Després de Castiel imbueix a si mateix amb les ànimes del Purgatori, que fa petar els dits, matant a Rafael; aquest acte semblava ser molt similar a com Lucifer mort Castiel.
Personalitat
Rafael és un greu àngel, tradicionalment ment que ha perdut la fe en Déu i està cansat de les seves funcions. Ell dóna suport a Miquel i el pla de portar el paradís a la Terra. Té poca paciència amb els éssers humans.

Raphael is one of the five Archangels created by God and the older brother of Gabriel, but still younger than Michael and Lucifer.
Raphael was the protector of the Prophet Chuck Shurley. He supported the plan to bring on the Apocalypse so that Michael could defeat Lucifer, and killed Castiel when the angel tried to stop the breaking of the last seal.

After Lucifer's release from the Cage, Raphael descended to Earth and possessed his vessel, Donnie Finnerman, to end a conflict between angels and demons near a gas station in Maine. After he finished with the demons he abandoned his vessel and ascended back to Heaven, leaving Donnie in a near catatonic state. Castiel and Dean lure him back to Earth and his vessel with an Enochian ritual and manage to trap him in a circle of Holy Fire. They interrogate him without success for information on God and his location, then Castiel and Dean leave him in the circle of flames.
Raphael managed to escape from the circle, and following the imprisonment of Lucifer and Michael in the Cage, he became the leader of a group of traditionalist angels intent on restarting the Apocalypse. They are opposed by a group led by Castiel. Part of Raphael's strategy involves gathering Angelic Weapons missing from Heaven to strengthen his army. He encounters a setback when Donnie Finnerman's body is destroyed by Balthazar using Lot's Salt, necessitating the search for a new vessel. He next appears in an unidentified female vessel. Raphael then sends an angel named Virgil to kill Balthazar and anyone else who allied with Castiel and retrieve the Angelic Weapons, but Balthazar gets the weapons to Castiel, and Raphael retreats. After Castiel imbues himself with the souls of Purgatory, he snaps his fingers, killing Raphael; this act appeared to be very similar to how Lucifer killed Castiel. 

Personality
Raphael is a serious, traditionally minded angel who has lost faith in God and is weary of his duties. He supports Michael and the plan to bring paradise to Earth. He has little patience with humans.

• Teleport himself and others to any location.
• Use telekinesis and terrakinesis.
• Control electricity; while manifesting, electricity arced around his vessel.
• Destroy structures, other beings like demons and humans, and hurt angels, in the form of a blast of white light.
• Protect demons from being killed by other angels.
